Nitin's Lunch & Learns

Nitin came to us after 33 years teaching at Harvard Business School. He decided to join Thrive because of his passion for entrepreneurship, teaching, and mentoring, which have served our firm well since our early years. 

When he arrived, it was important for him to find a way to share his insights with the whole firm, and we found that vehicle in a series of lunch and learns that are open to everyone, including sessions on leadership, recruiting star talent, and organizational culture.

At other companies, lunch-and-learns are often seen as a bit of a drag - but ours are different. The whole firm shows up, and Nitin chooses cases that illustrate something we’re grappling with as a team in that particular moment. Nitin’s passion for teaching and sharing his knowledge are clear with every tap of the chalk on the chalkboard. 

Nitin also started the Leadership Library on Substack with the help of the comms team, a way for founders and others in our orbit to follow the stories Nitin has written throughout his career and still today.  

We make each other better at what we do—and make the firm stronger—by embracing and learning from what each individual at Thrive brings to the table. Nitin is driven by a passion for teaching and for academia, and through his passion we all benefit.
